EL ARTE FUNERARIO EGIPCIO Y SU REPERCUSIÓN POSTERIOR

Abstract

El antiguo Egipto ha despertado un gran interés en todas las épocas, en especial el ámbito funerario en el que destacan principalmente las pirámides o los sarcófagos como el de Tutankamon. Estas obras van a ser el prototipo de numerosas construcciones y piezas artísticas las cuales van a continuar con el legado fúnebre que deja Egipto al mundo. La finalidad de este trabajo es poder analizar de forma detallada las influencias de todo lo vinculado al mundo fúnebre nilótico y cómo ha sido capaz de repercutir en la historia del arte de Occidente a lo largo del tiempo. Para ello, se ha realizado una comparación de técnicas, estilos, iconografía, tipologías de forma exhaustiva tanto en la Antigüedad, como en la Edad Media, en la Edad Moderna y en la Edad Contemporánea.

Ancient Egypt has stimulated great interest in all times, especially the funerary area in which the pyramids or sarcophagus, such as that of Tutankhamun. These works will be the prototype of many constructions and artistic pieces which will continue with the funeral legacy that leaves Egypt to the world. The purpose of this work is to be a ble to analyze in detail the influences of everything connected to the funerary nilotic world and how it has been able to affect the history of Western art over time. For this reason, a comparison of techniques, styles, iconography and typologies has been carried out exhaustively both in Antiquity, in the Middle Ages, in the Modern Age and in the Contemporary Age.
