Investigación sobre Violencia de Género en la Universidad de Jaén

Abstract

[ES] La violencia de género es un problema que continúa existiendo en nuestro país a pesar de la gran cantidad de medidas que se están implementando para prevenirla y superarla. Al contrario de lo que la sociedad puede pensar o de los prejuicios existentes sobre la violencia de género, ésta no solo se encuentra presente en las clases bajas de la sociedad, si no que está presente en todos los ámbitos de la misma, incluido el contexto universitario. Éste trabajo de investigación pretende dar respuesta a dos objetivos principales, Por un lado conocer si existen casos de alumnas de la Universidad de Jaén que sufran o hayan sufrido algún tipo de violencia de género, y por otro lado, analizar si éstas alumnas son conscientes de dicha violencia o simplemente desconocen lo que significa el concepto violencia de género[EN] Gender-based violence is a problem that continues existing in our country despite the great amount of measures taken in order to both prevents it and eradicated it. Opposite to what society may think or the prejudices existing about gender-based violence, this is not only present in the low classes of society, but also in all contexts of it, including university. This research intends to give an answer to two main objectives. On the one hand, to get to know whether there may be cases of female students in the University of Jaen who may or may have suffered from any kind of gender-based violence, and, on the other hand, to analise whether these students are aware of such violence or they simply do not know what the concept of gender-based violence means.
