INTERVENCIÓN COMUNITARIA Y ANÁLISIS DE LA REALIDAD SOCIAL MEDIANTE INVESTIGACIÓN PARTICIPATIVA

Abstract

El presente trabajo parte de una concepción de Trabajo Social Comunitario según la cual, la integración de la ciudanía y los diferentes agentes sociales presentes en una comunidad en los procesos comunitarios son fundamentales para garantizar mayor eficacia. Por tanto, el desarrollo de procesos bajo un enfoque participativo influirá en la participación e implicación ciudadana. Así, en una primera parte del trabajo analizamos diferentes conceptos básicos sobre intervención e investigación comunitaria, metodologías participativas y participación. Posteriormente se plantea cómo se desarrollaría un estudio de barrio con metodologías participativas, concretamente desde la aplicación de la Investigación – Acción Participativa, vinculando y acompañándolo de un estudio sobre el barrio del Polígono del Valle de la ciudad de Jaén.

The present work is based on a conception of Community Social Work according to which the integration of the citizenship and the different social agents present in a community are fundamental to guarantee greater effectiveness in the community processes. Therefore, the development of processes under a participatory approach will influence citizen participation and involvement. To begin, in a first part of the work we analyze different basic concepts about community intervention and research, participatory methodologies and participation. Then, it is proposed how a neighborhood study would be developed with participatory methodologies, specifically from the application of Participatory Action Research, linking and accompanying a study on the neighborhood of Polígono del Valle of the city of Jaén.
