Resumen
[ES] Este trabajo se centra principalmente en una revisión conceptual del término flow, en la que se explican sus dimensiones básicas y los diferentes tipos que se pueden encontrar, centrándose en el que se experimenta en el contexto organizacional. Posteriormente, se explica la relación del flow con la Psicología Organizacional Positiva y con conceptos vinculados como el Síndrome de estar Quemado en el Trabajo o burnout, la vinculación psicológica con el trabajo o engagement y con la adicción al trabajo o workaholism. Por último, se presentan las escalas de medida principales para evaluar las experiencias de flow y se expone un análisis crítico a modo de reflexión que muestra las posibles consecuencias beneficiosas que las experiencias óptimas en el trabajo podrían reportar tanto a los trabajadores como a las empresas.
[EN] This work focuses mainly on a conceptual review of the term flow, explaining its basic dimensions and the different types that can be found, as well as focusing on what is experienced in the organizational context. Subsequently, the relationship of flow with Positive Organizational Psychology and related concepts such as burnout syndrome, burnout, psychological attachment to work or engagement, and workaholism are explained. Finally, the main measurement scales to evaluate flow experiences are presented, along with a critical analysis as a reflection that shows the possible beneficial consequences that the best experiences in the work could generate both to workers and to companies.
