[EN] Spain, in the nineties, was consolidated as a country of immigration at the high number of immigrants who had access to the country in search of a better situation and welfare due to the strong economic growth that occurred in the country during that decade. The situation is now changed significantly, increasing the number of women immigrants, favoring an increase in the study of migration from a gender perspective. In addition of quantitative reason, we must add the qualitative aspect, the unequal way in which this immigration affects women as to men, how the womens develop the migration process, and how it affects the family, these being the main lines this literature review, making an approach to the subject.
