(ES) El presente trabajo versa sobre los diferentes factores que pueden afectar o que pueden
favorecer el desenvolvimiento de un trastorno de la conducta alimentaria. Está centrado,
mayormente, en los factores relacionados con la publicidad, internet, televisión, redes sociales
y todos los fenómenos relacionados con ello. Se realiza un recorrido desde los factores
biológicos que puede favorecer la aparición del trastorno y, posteriormente, se centra en los
factores contextuales que afectan al autoconcepto y la autoimagen partiendo de los blogs de
apología a la anorexia y la bulimia, la publicidad y la televisión hasta llegar a las redes sociales
y el fenómeno influencer. El objetivo fundamental es demostrar como los factores contextuales
y sociales pueden afectar y afectan al desarrollo del trastorno y como en la sociedad muchas
veces se promueve o normaliza este.
(EN) This work deals with the different factors that can affect or favour the development of an eating disorder. It focuses mainly on factors related to advertising, the internet, television, social media and all related phenomena. It starts with the biological factors that may favour the appearance of the disorder and then focuses on the contextual factors that affect self-concept and self-image, ranging from blogs promoting anorexia and bulimia, advertising and television to social media and the influencer phenomenon. The main objective is to demonstrate how contextual and social factors can affect the development of the disorder and how it is often promoted or normalized in society.
