Síndrome de la Fibromialgia y obesidad: una revisión sistemática

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido realizar una revisión sistemática sobre el Síndrome de la Fibromialgia y su relación con la obesidad, ya que es un tema en el cual es necesario seguir investigando. Esta revisión sistemática, se ha desarrollado de acuerdo con las guías de la Colaboración Cochrane y con los criterios de la Guía PRISMA. Para incluir los diferentes artículos en esta revisión sistemática se realizó una búsqueda exhaustiva en las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed, Scopus y Web of Science. Además, se tuvieron en cuenta diversos criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Por otro lado, destacar que se comenzó con 241 artículos, y que tras un riguroso proceso de selección, se escogieron 20 artículos, realizando un análisis de sus características y una síntesis cualitativa de los mismos. Como conclusión, es importante que se siga investigando más sobre la relación existente entre el SFM y la obesidad.

The objective of this work has been to carry out a systematic review on the Fibromyalgia Syndrome and its relationship with obesity, since it is a subject in which further research is necessary. This systematic review has been developed in accordance with the Cochrane Collaboration guidelines and the criteria of the PRISMA Guide. To include the different articles in this systematic review, an exhaustive search was carried out in the following databases: PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. In addition, a series of inclusion and exclusion criteria were considered. On the other hand, it should be noted that it began with 241 articles, and that after an rigorous selection process, 20 articles were chosen, carrying out an analysis of their characteristics and a qualitative synthesis. In conclusion, it is necessary to highlight the importance of further research on the relationship between FMS and obesity.
