Educación ambiental para la conservación de la naturaleza: evaluación de una intervención educativa

Resumen
[ES] Los límites planetarios, como la tasa de pérdida de biodiversidad, la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero y los ciclos de nitrógeno y fósforo están relacionados con la agricultura. Las prácticas agrícolas del olivar intensivo en la provincia de Jaén ejercen una presión notable sobre el medio ambiente. Este trabajo pretende estudiar la efectividad de sesiones de formación ambiental como respuesta en el modelo Presión-Estado-Respuesta, utilizando los servicios ecosistémicos para mejorar la conexión humano-naturaleza. Para cuantificar la efectividad de las mismas se utilizó la escala Nature Relatedness, y la adaptación de la escala Inclusion of Nature in Self; ambas traducidas al español y adaptadas al contexto. Han participado 123 personas en este estudio. Los resultados conseguidos muestran que no existe diferencia en la conexión humano-naturaleza en la totalidad de la población tras la intervención, pero sí se ha conseguido aumentar en un 40% estos niveles a nivel individual.
[EN] In the conceptual framework of planetary boundaries, the rate of biodiversity loss, greenhouse gas emissions and nitrogen and phosphorus cycles have been identified as being linked to agriculture. Agricultural practices in the olive grove sector in Jaen are generating massive pressure on the environment. This research aims to study the effectiveness of environmental training sessions as a response in the Pressure-State-Response model, scaffolded in the ecosystem services to improve the human-nature connection. To carry out the study we used Nature Relatedness scale and the Agolarb group’s adaptation of the Inclusion of Nature in Self scale; both translated into Spanish and adapted to Spanish context. In the study 123 people have participated. The results show the there was no difference in the human-nature connection among the population as a whole, but there was an increase up to 40% at individual level
