uso industrial.
This work will study the optimization of the process for obtaining composites based on resins derived from cotton waste. The process of obtaining cellulose from cotton waste and the manufacturing process of the film that will form part of the composite as the matrix element will be detailed. Subsequently, the processes for obtaining the different composites will be detailed in order to conduct various tests and characterizations, allowing for the results and conclusions of the process optimization to be obtained. This study is conducted with the aim of utilizing the waste from cotton collection, as cotton is composed of 90% cellulose, and cellulose derivatives can be used as an alternative to conventional polymers. In this way, the objective is to obtain cellulose derivatives that are compatible with resin, in order to create a composite material for industrial use.
