Resumen
[ES] El trabajo consiste en el estudio teórico del análisis de situación de la empresa
distribuidora Mercadona en España, concretamente, como actúa esta en el mercado y
sus aspectos más importantes a tener en cuenta. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo una
descripción de la empresa compuesta por su trayectoria profesional, estructura, modelo
de negocio y, la misión y visión de la compañía, un análisis teórico del entorno de ésta,
tanto externo como interno y, un análisis estratégico para conocer sus estrategias
competitivas principales. También se ha realizado un estudio del diagnóstico de la
situación a través de la matriz DAFO, donde se pueden observar cuales son las
principales debilidades, amenazas, fortalezas y oportunidades de la compañía española.
Por último, el estudio concluye con la obtención de las conclusiones finales del análisis
teórico.
[EN] The research consists of a theoretical study of the Spanish distribution enterprise, Mercadona’s current situational analysis, mainly, the way it operates in markets and its key market indicators. Consequently, a company overview is been conducted, comprising its career path, power structure, business model, mission statement and current external-and-internal strategic environmental analysis in order to asses its most significant competitive strategies. Moreover, a diagnosis of the company situation assessment is also been made through a SWOT analysis, formulated to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats the Iberian enterprise may be facing, Finally, the investigation ends providing a final conclusion of the aforementioned conceptual examination.
