Resumen
[ES] Este TFM ofrece argumentos a favor de la pertinencia de establecer una base afectiva sólida en el aula; y
soporte teórico para la noción de que la escuela bilingüe es el escenario ideal para ello, considerando:
avances en la enseñanza de segundas lenguas, factores emocionales que se correlacionan con el
aprendizaje, las características de la escuela bilingüe, disciplina positiva, Inglés como lengua internacional
y la normativa legal vigente.
[EN] This paper provides arguments in favour of the relevance of establishing a strong affective ground in the classroom; and theoretical support for the notion that the bilingual school is the ideal setting for this endeavour considering: developments in Second Language Teaching, emotional factors which correlate with learning, the characteristics of the Bilingual School, Positive Discipline, English as International Language and the current legal framework.
