a dichas personas.
[EN]Introduction: it is estimated that, in the coming years due to the aging of the population, there will be an increase in the prevalence of people with Alzheimer's and, therefore, of caregivers. Given the symptoms derived from the care situation, it is important to allocate interventions to carers to improve their health and the quality of care. Objectives: to propose a program to maintain or improve the health and quality of life of informal caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease and improve the quality of care for these people. Methodology: an intervention program will be carried out on those caregivers who meet the inclusion criteria, based on an intervention that combines health education and training, with group psychotherapy. Expected benefits: It is hoped to maintain or improve the health of caregivers, reducing the risk of overloading the role of caregiver, fostering support networks and training these people for proper care. Key words: Alzheimer, care, informal caregiver, caregiver burden, intervention program.
