Resumen
En la actualidad, aunque la conciencia social sobre el bullying ha aumentado, sigue siendo una de las formas de violencia que más prevalece dentro del contexto educativo. La reiteración en el tiempo, la desigualdad de poder y la intencionalidad de las acciones son los tres elementos claves para que se produzca. La presente revisión bibliográfica se ha centrado en ofrecer al lector una amplia visión de esta problemática, indagando en el papel que cumple cada agente implicado, los diferentes tipos que existen, las causas por las que se produce y el impacto que crea en los menores a corto y largo plazo. Incluyendo algunas estrategias para prevenir el acoso tanto dentro como fuera del contexto educativo, como son la capacitación y los programas antibullying.
Today, although social awareness of bullying has increased, it remains one of the most prevalent forms of violence within the educational context. Repetition over time, inequality of power and intentionality of actions are the three keys for it to occur. This bibliographical review has focused on offering the reader a wide vision of this problem, investigating the role played by each agent involved, the different types that exist, the causes for which it occurs and the impact it creates on children in the short and long term. It includes some strategies to prevent bullying both inside and outside the educational context, such as training and anti-bullying programmes.
