DESARROLLO DE UNA APLICACIÓN MÓVIL PARA EVITAR LA ACTUAL INVASIÓN POR BRIOZOOS DE LAS INFRAESTRUCTURAS DE RIEGO DE JAÉN.

Abstract

En este proyecto de investigación, se busca solucionar un gran problema con el que se está enfrentando actualmente el sector agrícola. Este es la obstrucción de filtros y tuberías por el crecimiento de invertebrados invasores (i.e. almeja asiática, mejillón cebra y briozoos). Se necesita una app o web, donde ellos suban fotos de las colonias de estos organismos, de las infraestructuras afectadas, así como su geolocalización. La aplicación también debe permitirnos concertar visitas con ellos para la toma de muestras. Además, en dicha aplicación los investigadores podrán proporcionar información sobre el aspecto y la biología de estos organismos y recomendaciones para su control y erradicación.

This research project seeks to solve a major problem that the agricultural sector is currently facing. This is the clogging of filters and pipes by the growth of invasive invertebrates (i.e. Asian clam, zebra mussel and bryozoans). An app or website is needed, where they upload photos of the colonies of these organisms, of the affected infrastructures, as well as their geolocation. The application should also allow us to arrange visits with them to take samples. In addition, the researchers will be able to provide information on the appearance and biology of these organisms and recommendations for their control and eradication.
