The present project aims to delve into the study of systems of equations in order to subsequently develop a didactic unit targeting 2nd grade students in Secondary Education. Firstly, a theoretical foundation is presented, encompassing the formulation, discussion, and resolution of systems of equations, along with other elements influencing the creation of the didactic unit. This includes consideration of the relevant legislative framework and a review of previous didactic research. These theoretical foundations serve as a strong basis for developing the didactic unit, which integrates objectives, key competencies, content, methodology, activities, and resources tailored to the students' needs. The timing and evaluation system ensure an appropriate assessment of progress. The importance of addressing common difficulties in learning this subject area is emphasized, and the contribution of this work to improving teaching practice and promoting more effective and meaningful learning in mathematics is acknowledged.
