In this Final Degree Project (TFG), the moisture content and volatile matter will be studied, as well as the percentage by weight of the solid recovered, of the cellulignin materials obtained after acid treatments of biomass such as: pistachio shell, residue of olive tree and olive stone pruning. In addition, the adsorption process will be analyzed, as a unit operation, for the elimination of furfural present in aqueous solutions of 1g / L, using the aforementioned adsorbents. Each type of biomass will undergo nine treatments that involve the variation of the sulfuric acid concentration (44%, 51.6%, 70%, 88.4% and 96%) and the reaction times (0.86h, 5h , 15h, 25h, 29h).
