Aplicación de la biología de sistemas al estudio del Gen STXBP1 y sus comorbilidades

Resumen
[ES] Las encefalopatías epilépticas infantiles son un conjunto de graves enfermedades de la infancia entre las que encontramos la causada por variantes del gen STXBP1. Dentro de las comorbilidades más comunes en el síndrome causado por este gen encontramos la epilepsia, la discapacidad intelectual, los trastornos del neurodesarrollo y los trastornos del espectro autista. En este Trabajo Fin de Grado se pretende conocer la relación entre estas enfermedades y el gen STXBP1 mediante el análisis de los genes asociados a cada enfermedad bajo la perspectiva de la Biología de Sistemas. Se han logrado reconocer y analizar las relaciones existentes entre todos los genes asociados a estas enfermedades entre sí, así como las conexiones de estos con nuestro gen de interés.
[EN] Epileptic encephalopathies of infancy are a group of grave childhood diseases among which are found the one caused by variants of gene STXBP1. Some of the most common comorbidities involving the syndrome caused by this gene include epilepsy, intellectual disability, neurodevelopmental disorders and autism spectrum disorders. The aim of this work is to study the relationship between those diseases and gene STXBP1 by analyzing the genes associated to each disease from the perspective of Systems Biology. It has been recognized and analyzed the relationships between genes associated to each disease, as well as their connections with our main gene.
