Resumen
[ES] La trata de personas con la finalidad de explotación sexual es la nueva
interpretación de esclavitud del siglo XXI. Una gravísima violación de
los derechos humanos que se ha convertido en el tercer negocio ilícito
más beneficioso del mundo, detrás del tráfico de drogas y de armas. Este
fenómeno afecta principalmente a mujeres de entre 18 a 25 años y a
menores de edad. Generalmente, en ambos casos se suelen cumplir las
mismas fases de actuación: las víctimas son captadas en sus países de
origen, especialmente por grupos criminales, para su posterior traslado a
otro país, es decir, el destino de la explotación sexual. Es obligación de
los Estados trabajar en base a los textos legales internacionales para
luchar contra esta actividad ilegal que supone una gravísima violación de
los derechos contra las víctimas que malviven esclavizadas sexual y
económicamente por las mafias que con ellas trafican.
[EN] Trafficking in persons for the purpose of sexual exploitation is the new interpretation of 21st century slavery. A very serious violation of human rights that has become the third most profitable illicit business in the world, behind drug and arms trafficking. This specialty mainly affects women between 18 to 25 years age and minors. Generally, in both cases, the victims are captured in their countries of origin, especially by criminal groups, for their subsequent transfer to another country, that is, the destination of sexual exploitation. It is the obligation of the States to work on the basis of international legal texts to fight against this illegal activity that against a very serious violation of the rights against the victims who survive sexually and economically enslaved by the mafias that traffic with them.
