Infecciones microbianas en la oleicultura y estrategias de tratamiento

Abstract

[ES] El cultivo del olivo y la producción de aceite de oliva es una industria muy importante de gran parte del mediterráneo, siendo España el país a nivel mundial con mayor cantidad de producción de este producto, y dentro de España, siendo Jaén la mayor productora de aceite. También, el aceite de oliva, es una parte muy importante de la dieta mediterránea. Por ello, el objetivo principal de este trabajo es la identificación y descripción de posibles agentes patógenos microbianos que afectan en mayor o menor medida al olivo y, por tanto, puedan provocar grandes daños en una de las mayores industrias, no solo de la provincia de Jaén, pero también de España y países vecinos, como Portugal o Italia, al mismo tiempo que se trata de identificar y describir posibles tratamientos para estos agentes patógenos. [EN] The cultivation of olive trees and the production of olive oil is a very important industry in a large part of the Mediterranean. Spain is the largest producer in the world of this product, and within Spain, Jaén is the largest producer of olive oil. Also, olive oil is a very important part of the Mediterranean diet. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to identify and describe possible pathogenic microbial agents that affect to a greater or lesser extent the olive tree and, therefore, can cause great damage in one of the largest industries, not only in the province of Jaén, but also in Spain and neighbouring countries, such as Portugal or Italy, while trying to identify and describe possible treatments for these pathogens.
