TENDENCIAS ACTUALES DEL DERECHO DE LA COMPETENCIA. ESPECIAL REFERENCIA AL CÁRTEL DE CAMIONES

Abstract

[ES] La sociedad española está en continuo cambio y como consecuencia de ello, el mercado tiene que ir evolucionando adaptándose a las nuevas necesidades. El problema es que hay algunas prácticas que no se adecúan a la legalidad vigente y por eso es necesario que las leyes sobre competencia entren en juego para regular dichas prácticas. A continuación mi trabajo se va a centrar en el tema de los monopolios y concretamente más en el famoso cártel de camiones. Explicaré cómo influye la asociación de empresas que tiene como objetivo controlar el mercado estableciendo unas pautas de funcionamiento y dejando a las demás empresas competidoras fuera del mercado.

[EN] Spanish society is in continuous change and as a consequence, the market has to evolve adapting to new needs. The problem is that there are some practices that do not conform to current law and therefore it is necessary that competition laws come into play to regulate such practices. Next, my work will focus on the issue of monopolies and more specifically on the famous lorry cartel. I will explain the influence of the association of companies whose objective is to control the market by establishing operating guidelines and leaving other competing companies out of the market.
