The aim of this final master’s dissertation (MFD) is to design, in a well-founded way, a lesson plan on probability distributions aimed at students in their 2nd year of Baccalaureate, introducing appropriate methodologies which help students understand these key concepts and always following the relevant educational legislation. Currently, Statistics plays a fundamental role since plenty of new areas are born today, such as Big Data, which are becoming more prominent in our daily lives. Hence, so as to highlight and focus on what it deserves, this Master’s Final Dissertation (MFD) has been carried out with the aim of motivating students and teaching them how Statistics knowledge, concretely probability distributions, can be applied in real life.
