LA ZONA ARQUEOLÓGICA DE MARROQUÍES BAJOS: LA EVOLUCIÓN POLÍTICO-CULTURAL.

Abstract

La Zona Arqueológica de Marroquíes Bajos no deja de ser uno de los temas más controvertidos en lo que a patrimonio arqueológico se refiere en la provincia de Jaén. Todo esto, unido a una serie de desacuerdos políticos ocurridos entre el Ayuntamiento de Jaén y la Consejería de Cultura de la Junta de Andalucía, nos lleva al punto de comprobar su evolución mediante noticias publicadas digitalmente, ver cómo ha repercutido en distintos medios sociopolíticos y culturales y además las opiniones que ha generado. Por último puede apreciarse que la realidad actual guarda parentesco con sus inicios, salvándose ciertos casos aislados en los que la adaptación al medio ha sido óptima.

The “Marroquies Bajos” Archaeological Area is one of the most controversial issues as far as archaeological heritage is concerned. All this, together with a series of political disagreements between the Jaen City Council and the Andalusian Regional Government's Department of Culture, brings us to the point of checking its evolution, through digitally published news, and seeing how it has affected different socio-political and cultural media and what opinions it has caused. Finally, it can be seen that the current reality is related to its beginnings, except for certain isolated cases in which the adaptation to the environment has been optimal.
