Through the following study we propose to analyze the mutual insurance and the beginning of social insurance to better understand the effort that had to do much of the population that was at a disadvantage in that period. It is important to know the history and be aware that the insurance we enjoy today have been facilitated by past generations with their struggle. The social insurance chosen for the study were those that at the end of the XIX century and the beginning of the XX most worried the working class, due to the helplessness in which families remained when the man suffered an accident at work (this was also partly due to the mechanization of factories because of industrialization), of illness and unemployment. To develop this work we have based on a methodology based on a literature review on the subject in question.
