Resumen
El funcionamiento del Sistema Público de Pensiones Español en
la actualidad, y especialmente para el futuro, es uno de los temas
que más preocupan a los españoles. Hoy en día, es fácil escuchar
en la calle, prensa o televisión, cómo se cuestiona su
supervivencia, ya que cada día es más insostenible, debido a
diversos factores que están afectando negativamente a que pueda
seguir desarrollándose como ha venido haciendo. Por ello, en este
trabajo, el objetivo principal es, aparte de mostrar en qué situación
se encuentra el Sistema de Pensiones Español y a que dificultades
se enfrenta, explicar cómo funcionan los Planes de Pensiones (que
son el instrumento de ahorro más utilizado) y las demás
alternativas que tienen los españoles para encontrar una forma de
ahorro privado fiable y segura que les ayude a poder
complementar sus prestaciones de jubilación que les proporcione
el Sistema Público.
The functioning of the Spanish Public Pension System at present, and especially for the future, is one of the issues that most concern Spaniards. Nowadays, it is easy to hear on the street, in the press or on television, how its survival is questioned, since every day it is more unsustainable, due to various factors that are negatively affecting its continued development as it has been doing. Therefore, in this work, the main objective is, apart from showing what situation the Spanish Pension System is in and what difficulties it faces, to explain how the Pension Plans work (which are the most used saving instrument) and the other alternatives that Spaniards have to find a reliable and secure form of private savings that helps them to be able to complement their retirement benefits provided by the Public System.
