¿CUMPLEN SUS OBJETIVOS LAS UNIDADES TERAPÉUTICAS Y EDUCATIVAS EN CENTROS PENITENCIARIOS?

Abstract

La situación de la población reclusa en España es un tema que nos atañe como sociedad, la prioridad del Sistema penitenciario en cuanto a la reinserción social de las personas penadas, como recoge la Constitución Española, debería ser el fin de los Centros penitenciarios, pero debido a diferentes problemas se puede observar la dificultades que se encuentran en Instituciones Penitenciarias para cumplir con este principio, algo que se dificulta aún más si hablamos de mujeres penadas. Debido a ello, estudiaremos el funcionamiento de los módulos terapéuticos dentro de los Centros penitenciarios, concretamente estudiaremos la situación de las personas penadas con problemas de drogadicción ya que presentan un número elevado de personas consumidoras dentro de la población reclusa, lo que supone un agravante a la situación ya complicada que presenta este grupo de población, desarrollando el papel que cumple con esta población la Unidad Terapéutica y Educativa desde su creación
