Resumen
En este trabajo se pretende crear conciencia sobre la realidad de los niños y niñas
menores de edad extranjeros y no acompañados que llegan a nuestro país, su situación real,
qué ocurre con ellos y ellas cuando cumplen los dieciocho años y deben abandonar el centro
de protección.
Se abordarán las causas que empujan a la migración, las características que deben
cumplir para ser considerados como Menores Extranjeros No Acompañados, los motivos de
migración, situación en la llegada al país y en los centros de protección, las leyes que regulan
la situación de estos jóvenes, la mayor vulnerabilidad de este colectivo ante las drogas y el
marco normativo que les ampara. Se pretende reflexionar sobre el estigma y prejuicio que
recae sobre este colectivo, tanto cuando son MENAS, como cuando posteriormente son
jóvenes migrantes extutelados
The goal of this intervention project is to raise awareness about unaccompanied minor foreign children (UMFC), who arrived into the country. Concretely, about the real situation with them, what happens with them when they are older than eighteen years old and they have to leave a protection centre. In this respect, the approaches which are the reasons and motives to migrate, which characteristics have to be considered to be UMFC. Further, about the situation when they arrive at the country and to the protection centre. It considers law to regulate the situation of these young children. By other hand, it is important to highlight the major risk exposure of them to drugs and the policy framework to safeguard them under this point. The mean goal is to reflect that stigma and bias encompass this collective as UMFC as well as posteriori when they are out the protection centre
