Adquisición del lenguaje en niños autistas

Abstract

El lenguaje es el principal medio de comunicación, ya que permite al individuo expresarse, relacionarse y comprender el mundo que le rodea. En este trabajo se resalta la importancia del lenguaje y su adquisición en niños con Trastorno de Espectro Autista (TEA). Según la Confederación de Autismo Española, el número de alumnos con este tipo de trastorno en las aulas, se ha multiplicado comparado con años atrás. Este trastorno afecta principalmente a cuatro áreas del desarrollo: la interacción social, flexibilidad de conductas, intereses y actividades, comunicación y lenguaje. Dada la importancia del lenguaje y su adquisición en la etapa de infantil, y basándonos en las principales teorías que estudian este proceso, analizaremos diferentes formas de apoyo para ayudar a niños con TEA en la adquisición del lenguaje.

Language is the major way of communication, since it allows the individual to express, relate and understand the world around him. In the current final degree project, I highlight the importance of language and its acquisition in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Nowadays, according to Confederación de Autismo Española, the number of students with this type of disorder has multiplied in the shcoolsïs classrooms compared to passed years. This disorder mainly affects four areas of human development: social interaction, flexibility of behaviors, interests and activities, communication and language. Given the importance of language, its acquisition in children, and based on the main theories that study this process, we will analyze different ways to support children with ASD in the acquisition of language, such as pictograms, sign language, and lastly spoken language.
