Intervención desde el Trabajo Social con mujeres víctimas de violencia de género

Abstract

La violencia de género es una problemática compleja y multidimensional. Existen una serie de factores individuales, familiares y sociales que sitúan a la víctima ante el riesgo de sufrir maltrato. Las mujeres sufren violencia de género por el simple hecho de haber nacido mujer, siempre ha sido la persona sumisa y dominada por parte del hombre en la sociedad. Los principales daños que soportan las mujeres pueden ir dirigidos hacia su autonomía personal, su productividad, su capacidad para cuidar de sí mismas, de sus hijos y de su calidad de vida. Aun reconociendo la complejidad del tema, este proyecto de intervención se centra en mujeres víctimas de violencia de género donde se pretende sensibilizar y concienciar a las mujeres que se encuentren en situación de maltrato y quieran cambiar dicho entorno para poder optar a un bienestar social.

The violence of gender is a problematic complex and multidimensional. They exist a series of individual factors, familiar and social that situate to the victim in front of the risk to suffer maltreatment. The women suffer violence of gender by the simple fact to having been born woman, always has been the submissive person and dominated by the man in the society. The main damages that bear the women can go directed to his personal autonomy, his productivity, his capacity to take care of himself same, of his children and of his quality of life. Even recognising the complexity of the subject, this project of intervention centres in women victims of violence of gender where pretends sensitise and awareness to the women that find in situation of maltreatment and want to change said surroundings to be able to opt to a social welfare.
