Resumen
[ES] Esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal: aumentar la autoestima de personas pertenecientes a la ciudad de Manta (Ecuador). Para la consecución de dicho objetivo se implementa una intervención socioeducativa que usa como medio la expresión corporal. Como instrumento de recogida de resultados se emplea el Test de autoestima de Rosenberg, el cual nos proporciona el nivel de autoestima de cada uno de los participantes que conforman tres grupos experimentales. Gracias a
ello, esta investigación ha obtenido resultados fructíferos. Por esta razón, se concluye que la relación existente entre el aumento de autoestima y la expresión corporal es positiva.
[EN] The main objective of this research is to increase the self-esteem of people belonging to the city of Manta (Ecuador). To achieve this objective, a socio-educational intervention is implemented wich uses corporal expression as a method. As an instrument for collecting the results, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Test is used, which provides us the level of self-esteem of each of the participants divided in three experimental groups. Thanks to this, this research has obtained good results. For this reason, it is concluded that the relationship between increased self-esteem and body expression is positive.
