En este trabajo, explicaré el concepto de colocación, sus principales corrientes, los
elementos que se encuentran en ellas, así como sus características, consultando bibliografía
previa sobre esta materia. Además, llevaré a cabo un estudio contrastivo de las colocaciones
con los verbos HACER, DO y MAKE para, posteriormente, mostrar las principales dificultades
que provoca su aprendizaje en el aula EFL. Para finalizar, elaboraré una unidad didáctica con
las combinaciones léxicas formadas con estos verbos con el fin de conseguir un aprendizaje y
comprensión óptimos para el estudiante.
In this work, I will explain the term of collocation, its main currents, the elements that can be found in them as well as its characteristics, making reference to previous works upon this matter. Furthermore, I will carry out a contrastive study of collocations with the verbs HACER, DO and MAKE in order to show the main difficulties which affect to EFL classroom. Lastly, I will design a didactic unit with the lexical combinations formed with these verbs to achieve an optimal learning and comprehension addressed to the students.
