Resumen
En el presente Trabajo Final de Máster (TFM) se expone detalladamente el recorrido histórico de la
inteligencia y educación emocional, desde su surgimiento hasta la actualidad, teniendo en cuenta a grandes
autores como Peter Salovey, John Mayer y Daniel Goleman, entre otros. Así como su vinculación con el arte y
la música, a la hora de promover competencias emocionales como el autocontrol y la gestión emocional.
Basándose en estudios que demuestran los beneficios de trabajar las emociones por medio de estas dos
grandes áreas como son el arte y la música, se ha diseñado una propuesta de orientación e intervención
psicopedagógica, para trabajar las emociones y las habilidades sociales asociadas a estas por medio de la
expresión artística y musical. Esta se desarrolla desde tres agentes de intervención como son la acción
tutorial, la orientación académica y profesional y la atención a la diversidad, teniendo en cuenta las
necesidades que presenta el alumnado del centro que hemos seleccionado.
In the current Master's Final project we exhibit a close historical path about the emotional intelligence from its origin to the actual situation, taking into account great authors such as Peter Salovey, John Mayer and Daniel Goldman. The same way, we work on the connection with music and art, as a way to promote emotional competences as self-control and emotional management. Based on different studies that proved the benefits of managing our emotions working with two big areas such as music and art, we develop an action proposal on guidance and educational psychology, to develop the emotions and social skills as a way to express ourselves in a musical and artistic way. We evolve from three different perspectives as tutorial actions, academic and professional orientation and diversity outreach, taking into account the various needs that we observed in the students of the schools we have chosen.
