APTITUD FÍSICA Y CREATIVIDAD: ESTUDIO COMPARADO EN EL ALUMNADO DE EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la relación entre aptitud física y creatividad en el alumnado del 2o y 3o ciclo de Educación Primaria, en función del ciclo estudiado. La muestra estaba formada por 308 estudiantes (222 del 2o ciclo y 85 del 3o ciclo). La aptitud física se evaluó mediante la Batería «ALPHA- fitness». Para la creatividad se utilizó el test «PIC-N». Los análisis mostraron que un mayor nivel de aptitud física se asocia con mejores niveles de creatividad, y la fuerza de esta asociación es mayor en los alumnos del 3o ciclo de Educación Primaria. Se concluye que el nivel de aptitud física es un mayor predictor de la creatividad en los alumnos de mayor curso, en comparación con los de menor curso.

[EN] The objective of this study was to analyze the relationship between physical fitness and creativity in students of the 2nd and 3rd cycle of Primary Education, according to age. The sample consisted of 308 students (222 from the 2nd cycle and 85 from the 3rd cycle). Physical fitness was assessed using the "ALPHA-fitness" Battery. For creativity, the «PIC-N» test was used. The analyzes showed that a higher level of physical fitness is associated with better levels of creativity, and the strength of this association is greater in students in the 3rd cycle of Primary Education. It is concluded that the level of physical fitness is a greater predictor of creativity in older students, compared to younger ones.
