La mediación comunicativa y el conflicto intercultural en la comunidad sorda

Abstract

[ES] Tanto el profesional dedicado a la mediación comunicativa como el colectivo implicado en la demanda de estos profesionales se enfrenta a numerosos retos que hacen que el conocimiento en resolución de conflictos tenga un papel importante en las competencias a adquirir. El presente trabajo pretende analizar los conflictos a los que se puede enfrentar el mediador comunicativo que van desde la dificultad para delimitar la figura del mediador diferenciándola de la del intérprete hasta la definición de la comunidad sorda como comunidad cultural. Analizaremos que se considera un conflicto, que son conflictos interculturales, las diferentes teorías y sus posibles soluciones con intención de aplicarlo al ámbito de la mediación comunicativa. Por último, se hará un análisis de los problemas que pueden surgir al mediador en el proceso de mediación entre comunidad sorda y oyente.

[EN] Both the professional dedicated to communicative mediation and the group involved in the demand for these professionals face numerous challenges that make knowledge of conflict resolution an important role in the skills to be acquired. The present work aims to describe the figures of the Mediator and the Interpreter, their differences, the description of the deaf community itself. There will also be a review of the conflict, the different theories and the possible solutions with the intention o applying it to the field of mediation communicative to present an analysis of the possible conflicts that appear in the deaf community as a cultural community, as well as analyze the problems that may arise for the mediator in the mediation processes between the deaf and hearing communities.
