PROYECTO DE INTRVENCIÓN INTERGENERACIONAL PARA MITIGAR EL AISLAMIENTO EN EL HOGAR DE PERSONAS MAYORES Y FOMENTAR VIVENCIAS SIGNIFICATIVAS ENTRE MAYORES Y NIÑOS/AS

Abstract

(ES)El proyecto que se presenta a continuación trata sobre las personas mayores que se encuentran solas en sus domicilios y que reciben el servicio de ayuda a domicilio. En las últimas décadas la soledad se ha manifestado como uno de los grandes problemas principales de las personas mayores en las sociedades postindustriales. Si bien es cierto que las personas mayores que reciben este servicio se encuentran acompañadas por su auxiliar de ayuda a domicilio, también cabe destacar que este servicio ocupa solamente unas pocas horas del día (dependiendo del grado de dependencia que tengan reconocido), y que un gran porcentaje de las personas que reciben este servicio el resto del día se encuentran solas. Por todo lo comentado con anterioridad, el objetivo de este proyecto es disminuir el sentimiento de soledad en las personas mayores usuarias del servicio de ayuda a domicilio, a través de su contacto con niños en el marco de un proyecto que fomente las relaciones intergeneracionales.(EN)The project presented below is about elderly people who are alone at home and who receive home help services. In recent decades, loneliness has emerged as one of the major problems faced by elderly people in post-industrial societies. Although it is true that elderly people who receive this service are accompanied by their home help assistant, it is also worth noting that this service only takes up a few hours of the day (depending on the degree of dependency they have been recognised as having), and that a large percentage of people who receive this service are alone the rest of the day. For all the reasons mentioned above, the aim of this project is to reduce the feeling of loneliness in elderly people who use home help services, through their contact with children within the framework of a project that fosters intergenerational relationships.
