[EN]The power of the word over people's minds is so excessive that in recent years linguistics research has chosen to open a new line of research: critical discourse analysis. The mass media, main actors in the configuration of the discourse, have become effective instruments to establish the structures that the establishment needs to legitimize its policies. As a consequence of this discourse control, in this case through the media, a sexist language promoted by patriarchy has been sustained, which has a special impact on the younger population through media content such as entertainment or advertising. The data is clear in this regard: despite having one of the most advanced regulations, both in coeducation and in the prevention of sexist violence, there is a surge in sexist discrimination among the young population that makes it necessary for us to address this serious situation. Therefore, this project proposes a didactic unit, based on the principles of the coeducational school, with the objective that our students identify the structure of sexist language in the discourse of the media and, from there, acquire an awareness criticism that allows him to build an inclusive language through the deconstruction of the values imposed for centuries by patriarchy. KEY WORD: sexism, coeducation, patriarchy, media, language, discourse analysis, thinking, adolescence, youth.
