EL ENFOQUE DEL BIEN COMÚN PARA UN MERCADO DE ABASTOS ÉTICO

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo pretende mostrar que la economía puede ser compatible con factores como son la dignidad humana, la solidaridad y la justicia, la sostenibilidad medioambiental, y la participación democrática, con el ejemplo de un mercado de abastos de Jaén. Este planteamiento surge de la Economía del Bien Común, un movimiento social que intenta aunar los valores humanos y económicos en un nivel donde ninguno de ellos sea independiente del otro, incluyendo el respeto al medioambiente. Se estudiará el tema de la EBC, la historia e influencia que han tenido los mercados de abastos en España, las normas por las que se rige el mercado minorista, el ejemplo del Mercado Municipal de San Francisco de la ciudad de Jaén y algunas propuestas de mejora en el marco de la EBC.

[EN] This paper aims to show that economy can be compatible with factors like: human dignity, solidarity and justice, environmental sustainability, and democratic participation, using a municipal market of Jaén as an example. To develop this scenario, the Economy for the Common Good was born, a social movement which tries to unite human and economic values at a level where none of them is independent of the other, including the respect to natural environment. We are going to study the ECG theme, the history and influence that have had the market of supplies in Spain, the rules for which the retail sector is currently governed in the context of legality, the example of San Francisco Municipal Market of Jaén and some projects of improvement on the ECG setting.
