A review about the main approaches and materials used to teach speaking in bilingual contexts

Resumen
[ES]El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar, describir y analizar cómo se aborda la enseñanza de las destrezas orales productivas para identificar áreas en las que esta competencia no se está tratando correctamente y plantear soluciones, alternativas o propuestas. Para ello, se plantea una revisión bibliográfica acerca de los enfoques más significativos de enseñanza de las destrezas orales en algunos centros educativos de Andalucía y se abordan políticas lingüísticas europeas y regionales de enseñanza de lenguas. Se analizan los materiales usados para la enseñanza de las destrezas orales, concretamente los libros de texto. Se emplea una metodología cualitativa descriptiva, basada en la observación sistemática de los libros de texto en base a una serie de criterios e ítems que se establecen previamente. Finalmente se plantean recomendaciones metodológicas y estructurales para solventar los posibles problemas identificados en la fase de análisis de materiales educativos.
[EN]This research aims to identify, describe and analyse how the teaching of productive oral skills is addressed in order to identify areas in which this competition not being treated correctly and propose solutions, alternatives or proposals. This implies a bibliographical review about the most significant approaches to teach oral skills at some schools in Andalusia and European and regional linguistic language teaching policies are addresed. Materials used for teaching oral skills, specifically textbooks are going to be analysed. We use a descriptive qualitative methodology, based on systematic observation of textbooks in relation to a series of criteria and items that are established previously. Finally, methodological and structural recommendations are proposed to solve the potential problems identified in the phase of analysis of educational materials.
