La formación de adjetivos calificativos denominales neológicos por sufijación en español

Abstract

En este trabajo llevamos a cabo un estudio sobre la formación de adjetivos calificativos por sufijación en español actual. El proyecto consta de dos partes. La primera consiste en una revisión bibliográfica de los principales estudios morfológicos sobre la formación de adjetivos calificativos mediante sufijos derivativos (-iento, -izo, -ón, -oso, -udo y -uno). La segunda parte consiste en una investigación sobre la formación de adjetivos calificativos neológicos por sufijación en español actual, con el fin de determinar qué esquemas derivativos resultan productivos en la actualidad en la formación de este subtipo de adjetivos. Para ello, nos basamos en los datos encontrados en el Banco de Neologismos del Centro Virtual Cervantes.This paper aims to carry out a study on the formation of suffixed qualifying adjectives in the Spanish language. This project is divided into two different parts. In the first one, a bibliographic review of the most important morphological studies about the formation of qualifying adjectives using derivational suffixes (-iento, -izo, -ón, -oso, -udo y -uno) will be exposed. The second part, of practical nature, will consist of a research on the formation of neological qualifying adjectives by suffixing in the Spanish language, so as to determine which derivational schemes are more productive nowadays, in the process of formation of this subtype of adjectives. To that end, the research will be based on the data found in a database of neologisms available in the Centro Virtual Cervantes webpage.
