LA REALIDAD DE LA PROTECCIÓN INTERNACIONAL EN LA UNIÓN EUROPEA: UN ANÁLISIS CUALITATIVO A PARTIR DE SUS CIFRAS.

Abstract

Con esta investigación se pretende conocer la realidad de las personas solicitantes de protección internacional en la Unión Europa y España. Para ello se ha empleado una metodología cualitativa a través de una revisión bibliográfica y documental, recabando informes de instituciones de ayuda humanitaria de 2017 en adelante. A través del análisis de dichos documentos, avanzamos en el conocimiento de: en primer lugar, el perfil de las personas solicitantes de protección internacional; en segundo lugar, los países de destino de las personas solicitantes, así como las resoluciones y el tipo de concesión que reciben; y, por último, sus necesidades y las actuaciones que se llevan a cabo desde las instituciones. Se concluye que la respuesta que reciben las personas solicitantes de protección internacional por parte de la UU.EE es insuficiente, obteniendo más del 50% una resolución negativa.

With this research we try to know the reality of the applicants for international protection in the European Union and Spain. To this end, a qualitative methodology has been used through a bibliographic and documentary review, gathering reports from humanitarian aid institutions from 2017 onwards. Through the analysis of these documents, we advance in the knowledge of: first, the profile of the applicants for international protection; second, the countries of destination of the applicants, as well as the resolutions and the type of concession they receive; and, finally, their needs and the actions that are carried out from the institutions. It is concluded that the response received by applicants for international protection by the UU.EE is insufficient, obtaining more than 50% a negative resolution
