Resumen
En ese trabajo se trata de una obra realismo mágico, Cien años de soledad, de García Márquez. Se
realizará un estudio del realismo mágico, que se comparará con lo real maravilloso,
contextualizándolo históricamente en donde la figura de Gabriel García Márquez prevalece en este
ámbito con su obra Cien años de soledad de la que se hará un estudio que se compone de las
características y la influencia de esta novela en Latinoamérica y en el mundo entero.
In this essay, the novel “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez is going to be analysed. Furthermore, we will compare the concept of “magic realism” with the concept of “marvelous realism”, providing some historical context to fulfill this objective. The figure of Gabriel García Márquez survives in this field with his novel “One Hundred Years of Solitude”, whose characteristics and influence in Latin America and the rest of the world will be examined.
