Resumen
YouTube es una de las grandes plataformas de distribución de
contenidos audiovisuales y gracias a ella se han creado nuevas
formas de comunicación, como las que han desarrollado los
“youtubers”. En el presente trabajo se dará a conocer el
significativo desarrollo que están teniendo las redes sociales en la
elección del destino turístico. Es por ello que resulta esencial para
las empresas aprovechar las ventajas que la tecnología actual
ofrece para promocionar sus productos y servicios con
personalidades del entorno de YouTube. Además, se analizan los
factores que han hecho posible el éxito de los influencers. Por
último, se incorpora un vídeo promocional propio de Nueva
Zelanda como destino turístico mostrado por youtubers de
elaboración propia como plasmación práctica de la parte teórica
del trabajo. Así, como conclusión la industria turística ha
incorporado YouTube como herramienta de trabajo debido a la
popularidad e interés que suscitan las celebridades de internet en
los consumidores.
YouTube is one of the biggest distribution platforms of audio- visual content and, thanks to this, the youtubers have created a new way of communication. In this project, the importance of social media in the selection of a tourist destination will be focus of attention. Consequently, companies are required to take advantage of what current technology offers to promote products and services with celebrities of the YouTube environment. In addition, the factors that have made the success of influencers possible are analyzed. Finally, a promotional video of New Zealand is going to be incorporate as a tourist destination, originally designed is introduced to show a practical example of the theoretical part of the work. Thus, as a conclusion we can say that tourism industry has incorporated YouTube as a working tool due to the popularity and interest that celebrities of internet arouse in costumers.
