La Unión Bancaria Europea

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo tiene como propósito estudiar el origen y la evolución de la Unión Bancaria en Europa. En primer lugar, se establecen los motivos que originaron la crisis europea cuya solución fue la creación de esta Unión Bancaria. A continuación, se analiza el proceso de creación de esta Unión y sus elementos básicos, centrándome en el Mecanismo Único de Supervisión ya que es en el que más se ha avanzado en su puesta en funcionamiento. Finalmente, se analiza cómo la crisis y la creación de la Unión Bancaria han afectado de forma concreta a España. Además, el trabajo recoge una cronología del proceso de creación de la Unión Bancaria en la que se encuentran las fechas más importantes.[EN] This paper aims to study the origin and evolution of the banking union in Europe. First of all, we study the reasons that led to the European crisis whose solution was the creation of the Banking Union. Then, the process of creating this Union and its basic elements are analyzed, focusing on the Single Supervisory Mechanism as it is where more progress has been made in its implementation. Finally, we analyze how the crisis and the creation of a banking union have hit a concrete way to Spain. In addition, the paper includes a chronology of the creation process of the Banking Union where the most important dates appear.
