LOS SISTEMAS DE POLÍTICA SOCIAL Y SERVICIOS SOCIALES EN LA ESPAÑA CONTEMPORÁNEA

Abstract

La evolución histórica de los Servicios Sociales en España que ha tenido lugar en los últimos tiempos, ha sido sin duda significativa en la delimitación de su contenido y estructura hoy en día. Es importante tener en cuenta esta transformación que ha experimentado a lo largo del tiempo, observando y analizando sus distintas etapas. Además, es destacable mencionar que las necesidades sociales y recursos existentes han tenido diferentes manifestaciones a lo largo de la historia en consideración a cada época vivida. A continuación, se presentarán los acontecimientos más sobresalientes en la historia de los Servicios Sociales y el Trabajo Social, centrándonos sobre todo en el periodo de la transición democrática, que aportó un avance en la situación actual sobre la existencia de un Sistema Público de Servicios Sociales. Es fundamental conocer el pasado para tener un conocimiento amplio de los Servicios Sociales, así como la intervención de la Política Social, la consolidación del Estado de Bienestar y la importancia del término de Bienestar Social en la sociedad.

The historical evolution of Social Services in Spain has been taken place in the recently times, nowadays it has been, without doubt, the delimitation setween their countains and structures. It´s important to consider that this transformation has been experimented long time ago, analizing and watching each stages. Also, it remark that the means and social resources has been taken different showings along the history considering each time. Then, it´s going to presentate the most important events in the history of Social Services and Social Work, focusing specially in the democratic transitions, which contribute to advance in the current situation about the existence of a Public Social Services Systems. It´s essential to know the past time to consider an extensive knowledge of Social Services, so that, the intervention of Social Politics, the consolidation of Wellness State, and the importance of the concept of Social Wellness in our society.
