El turismo sexual: proyecto de investigación en la costa del sol

Abstract

[ES]La globalización de la prostitución y la mayor accesibilidad que tienen las personas para desplazarse por el planeta han facilitado la aparición y el desarrollo del turismo sexual. Las diferencias económicas, sociales y legales que existen entre los países provocan el movimiento de turistas sexuales y trabajadores sexuales por el mundo. La más grave de las consecuencias de este tipo de turismo es la trata de personas y niños con fines de explotación sexual, que aunque resulta poco visible, está presente en muchos destinos del mundo y de España.

[EN]The globalization of prostitution and the greater accessibility of people to travel around the world have facilitate the emergence and the development of sex tourism. The economic, social and legal differences that exist between countries cause the movement of sex tourists and sex workers around the world. The most seriuos of the consequences of this type of tourism is the trafficking of people and children for the purpose of sexual exploitation, although it is not very visible, it is present in many destinations in the world and in Spain.
