Resumen
[ES] La enfermedad de Parkinson es patología neurodegenerativa crónica del movimiento, que afecta,
aproximadamente, a casi cinco millones de personas en todo el mundo. Uno de los tratamientos no
farmacológicos viables para el tratamiento de esta enfermedad es la atención plena, donde se han obtenido
resultados positivos en pacientes con enfermedad de Parkinson, mediante la intervención con mindfulness.
Estos óptimos resultados se han obtenido tanto en áreas motoras como en aspectos emocionales y cognitivos.
En este contexto, se ha desarrollado un programa de intervención, basado en el entrenamiento de atención
plena, para reducir la sintomatología ansioso-depresiva asociada a la enfermedad de Parkinson. El programa
tiene una duración de 10 semanas. Tras su aplicación se espera aumentar el bienestar subjetivo de los
participantes junto con su calidad de vida.
[EN] Parkinson's disease is a chronic neurodegenerative movement disorder that affects approximately five million people worldwide. One of the viable non-pharmacological treatments for the treatment of this disease is mindfulness, where positive results have been obtained in patients with Parkinson's disease through mindfulness intervention. These optimal results have been obtained in motor areas as well as in emotional and cognitive aspects. In this context, an intervention program based on mindfulness training has been developed to reduce the anxious-depressive symptomatology associated with Parkinson's disease. The program has a duration of 10 weeks. After its application, it is expected to increase the subjective well-being of the participants along with their quality of life.
