[EN] Even though it is one of the most spoken languages in the world, Spanish seems to be a troublesome language to learn for foreign speakers. One of the most problematic factors is the teaching of copulative verbs ser and estar: while in Spanish they are two, in other languages like English we only find one –to be–. Furthermore, with some help from the communicative and task-based method, the way these verbs are being taught has changed, keeping away from the temporal versus permanent conception. In this project we will present a classification of the copulative verbs ser, estar and parecer uses in order to analyze how they have been presented in various online materials.
