Resumen
[ES] En contra de lo que se creía hasta no hace demasiadas décadas, lengua y cultura están indisolublemente unidas, y no es posible aprender bien la una sin conocer la otra. El presente trabajo pretende hacer un estudio teórico sobre esta premisa, y concretarla con la creación de una unidad didáctica sobre cultura española como medio vehicular para enseñar ELE. Para ello, en la primera parte de este TFM, se realiza un análisis teórico general de la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras, evidenciando la importancia de la cultura para llegar a adquirir verdadera competencia comunicativa, y en la segunda, se presenta una unidad didáctica que esperamos poder usar en futuras prácticas docentes.
[EN] Contrary to what was believed until not too many decades ago, language and culture are inextricably linked, and it is not possible to learn one well without knowing the other. This end-of-master thesis intends to make a theoretical study about this premise and to illustrate it with a chapter on Spanish culture as a vehicular medium to teach Spanish as a foreign language. To this end, a general analysis of the method to teach foreign languages is made in the first part of this thesis, emphasizing the importance of culture to acquire true communication skills. The second part is devoted to practical aspects to take into consideration when teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
