Resumen
En este trabajo se ha procedido a la caracterización mecánica de PLA y ABS impresos mediante el método MDF.
También se ha analizado si el Eurocódigo 3 proporciona predicciones fiables sobre el comportamiento de
modelos de uniones estructurales obtenidas mediante impresión 3D. Los ensayos necesarios para la elaboración
de este estudio se han realizado empleando la técnica experimental de correlación digital de imágenes (DIC), un
método óptico no intrusivo que permite, por medio del uso de imágenes, obtener la deformación de un objeto
al que se le aplica una carga.
In this work we have proceeded to the mechanical characterization of printed PLA and ABS using the MDF method. It has also been analyzed whether Eurocode 3 provides reliable predictions about the behavior of structural joint models obtained by 3D printing. The necessary tests for the elaboration of this study have been made using an experimental technique called digital image correlation (DIC), a non-intrusive optical method that allows, through the use of images, to obtain the deformation of an object that is applies a load.
