Consumo de drogas y juego de azar en los estudiantes de la Universidad de Jaén

Abstract

Actualmente, existe gran preocupación tanto por el consumo anticipado y abusivo de sustancias psicoactivas en jóvenes (Mosqueda-Díaz y Carvalho, 2011), como por el incremento de adicciones a conductas como jugar a juegos de azar (Vera-García y Cobacho-Inglés, 2005). Por ello, algunos objetivos del estudio serán comprobar: la prevalencia yedad de inicio en el consumo de drogas y alcohol, la existencia de policonsumo en universitarios, y la relación entre los tipos de consumo de alcohol y el juego aleatorio. Los resultados obtenidos muestran como drogas más consumidas el alcohol y el cannabis, encontrándose relación entre el consumo peligroso y de alto riesgo de alcohol con el consumo de cannabis. También, se obtiene una relación significativa entre ser hombre y el juego de azar online. Por último, se obtiene relaciones entre el consumo de alto riesgo de alcohol y participar en juegos de azar, no siendo estos online.

Nowadays, there is great concern both for the anticipated and abusive use of psychoactive substances in young people (Mosqueda-Díaz and Carvalho, 2011), and for the increase in addictions to behaviors such as playing games of chance (Vera-García and Cobacho-Inglés, 2005). Therefore, some objectives of the study will be to check: the prevalence and age of onset in the consumption of drugs and alcohol, the existence of polydrug use in university students, and the relationship between the types of alcohol consumption and random play. The results obtained show that alcohol and cannabis are the most commonly consumed drugs, and there is a relationship between dangerous and high-risk alcohol consumption and cannabis use. Also, you get a significant relationship between being a man and online gambling. Finally, we obtain relationships between the consumption of high risk of alcohol and participate in games of chance, not being online.
