Resumen
[ES]La empresa familiar es aquella cuyo patrimonio y gobierno es llevado a cabo por los miembros
de una o varias familias, donde su principal objetivo se basa en la continuidad de la empresa
en manos de la siguiente generación.
La complejidad de estas empresas es resultado de la intervención de tres componentes, la
familia, la empresa y la propiedad. La unión de éstos supone la combinación de cuestiones
empresariales y personales que pueden derivar en numerosos conflictos y problemas.
En el presente trabajo se realiza un planteamiento teórico de las empresas familiares, se
estudian los puntos fuertes y debilidades que tiene una empresa familiar, pero haciendo
especial hincapié en el modelo evolutivo tridimensional y en el proceso de sucesión.
[EN]The family business is whose heritage and government is carried out by the members of one or more families, where its main objective is based on the continuity of the company in the hands of the next generation. The complexity of these companies is the result of the intervention of three components, the family, the company and the property. The union of problems implies the combination of personal and personal issues that can lead to various conflicts and problems. In this paper, a theoretical approach to family businesses is carried out, the strengths and weaknesses of a family business are studied, but with special emphasis on the threedimensional evolutionary model and the succession process.
